REDSKINS VARSITY TEAM WINS THE 2011 YVGKA CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to the YAKIMA REDSKINS VARSITY TEAM on winning the 2011 YVGKA Championship with an outstanding win tonight. The Score was 40-0 vs a great Grandview team. The Redskins Varsity team has now won BACK TO BACK Championships in the Varsity Division. This is the first time in 10 years that a team has won BACK TO BACK Championships in the varsity division (Wapato 2000 & 2011 is the last team to win BACK TO BACK titles). GREAT JOB BOYS. YOU PLAYERS DESERVE ALL THE CREDIT.

Great game by both teams. The 49ers made us earn everything we got. Lots of Respect goes out to the 49ers JV Team. The 49ers were a well coached team that played very physical. But in the end the Redskins pulled away. Great job boys, you boys showed tons of heart and toughness. YOU boys did it. You made it to the Championship Game. I am PROUD of you boys. Lets finish the job and keep this magical season going a little bit further.

What a great game. Congratulations to Grandview for a great season and an incredible championship game effort, that is a great team. But most of all way to go REDSKINS. One of the most exciting games of the YVGKA 2008 Season at any age level. Incredible execution by the Redskins players and a very tough, gritty effort by the boys. Thank you to the Cheerleaders and all who showed up at Wapato High School to support the team. What a special night. I am so proud of you boys, YOU DID IT ONE LAST TIME. Remember it for a lifetime boys.

For Parents:
If you have any concerns or questions, respectfully communicate with the coaches outside and away from practice and games.
If you or your child is unhappy with his status on the team, ask what he needs to do to improve his status.
If you violate this rule, You and your child maybe asked to leave the team.
You are not to come onto the sidelines with your child, unless your child is injured or sick and is in need of your assistance.
If you need to give your child something, walk it down to them and return immediately to your seat.

Absolutely no fighting or jealousy amoung the team members will be tolerated.
Be positive, confident and humble. No arrogance or cockiness.
Negative comments and swearing are not allowed under any circumstances, and punishment will be enforced.
No trash talking or fighting with the opposing teams players before, during or after the games.
